Build-A-Bear

Build-A-Bear Workshops are the kind of store that you like to make a "special visit" with your children.  It's a big deal to kids to create their very own best friends.  When you go into a Build-A-Bear, you are greeted by a Bear Builder Associate who's job it is to help guide you through this magical process.  

• The first thing your child does is choose which friend they want to make. Thank you Mom Select for sending us the Brown Sugar Puppy (seen above).  You can also choose from bears, bunnies, cats, zoo animals and even a turkey!
• Next you get to record your very own Build a Sound message for your friends.
• Step three, you take your friend to the Stuff Me Station so they can get fluffed up.  This is also where your child gets to pick out a very special heart to place in their Build a Bear.
  
• After your child's friend has been stuffed, loved and given a heart it is time for them to be stitched up.
• Your child then take their friend to get a spa treatment and good ole fur brushing.
• Step 5 involved your child picking out a name, getting a birth certificate and a very special tracking ID if their friend were to ever get lost.
• Finally they get to pick out it's clothes and take it home to be loved forever.

My little girl also has a stuffed bear that she made when she was about a 1 1/2.  His name is Buddy and he truly his her buddy.
