 Embracing Motherhood and Keeping It Real!

There is no doubt that being a mom is the hardest job in the world.  I know that as a mom, there is usually some guilt associated with what we do.  Are we making the right decisions, Did we handle that situations properly, Should we have let our children do that?  We get caught up in second guessing ourselves and comparing ourselves to other moms.

I had an opportunity one time to sit down with a bunch of ladies in my church home group.  We had a sort of confessional time.  One mom admitted "I feed my kids gas station hot dogs for supper one time when we were in a hurry to get somewhere!"  Another mom admitted "I hate to clean and my house is a wreck!"  It's times like this that we get to see the true heart and minds of moms.  No, we're not all June Cleaver, though we think that we should be.  Mom's come in all shapes, sizes, and colors.  We need to celebrate the differences in one another and build each other up.

Let the world know that No, you're not perfect, but you're Priceless!
