Pop Pals

>> November 1, 2008

What kid doesn't love a Popsicle? My little girl asks for one every evening after supper. Inevitably she ends up with freezing cold hands. I would try wrapping a paper towel around it, only for it to slip off and we would be back to square one.
Then I discovered Pop Pals!
Pop Pals were invented by
Stephanie Veve, a mom of 3 from California that had experienced the same frustration. After unsuccessful attempts to find something already on the market, she developed Pop Pals.

Pop Pals come in two different sizes: Original size, and Jumbo size which is designed to fit larger ice pops, yogurt tubes, and electrolyte pops. They come in your choice of yellow or green.
I love the fact that Pop Pals were created by a mom. They are also made in the USA and are top rack dishwasher safe!

My little girl loves her Pop Pals so much, she won't even eat a Popsicle without it. She says "where's my special thing?"

BUY IT:
Pop Pals are availble online at www.pop-pals.com.
Retail:
$8.95 (2 pk original size)
$9.95 (2 pk jumbo size)

wow! cannot believe someone didn't think of this sooner - this is a great idea. I hate the mess of popsicles but my girls love them. This should be popular with moms, especially at cleanup time. love the less messy bit of it all

my daughter really hates having her hands cold or sticky, both things that could happen without pop pals-I love the fact that it moves up the pop as you go along, keeping hands warm, yet not heating up your ice pop so it melts more than it should. I'd love to win this fun item!

this would be perfect for my two young boys. Much better than the paper towel wrapped around it.

tamra November 2, 2008 5:50 PM

I have 4 kids and all of them would definitely use this. I would use it mostly for my youngest two though. Once their little hands get cold, they set the popsicle down right where they are and that's where it stays until I come across the melted mess!

Anonymous,  November 4, 2008 9:32 AM

This was a very good invention. Kids don't seem to enjoy their popsicles all the was to the end b/c their little hands get cold. I always wrap my daughter's in a napkin, but I would go the extra mile to get some of these so she could have fun and enjoy her popsicles at the same time.

Fantacy so Sweet-n-Stuff... November 4, 2008 7:01 PM

definitely one of those "why didn't I think of that" inventions!!! My 4 yr old LOVES pop-ice but always complains that her fingers hurt (they get too cold) and I spend the whole time having to push it up for her...SO needless to say these would go to my 4yr old dd (but I might buy some for my 5 yr old nephew too!)...ty for the chance to win!

Fun giveaway and product:)

Ashley November 4, 2008 9:59 PM

My little brother would love these. He eats popsicles all the time.

Jennifer November 4, 2008 10:31 PM

Two young kids means only one thing: teething. We rely on icy snacks to calm down our kids.

In addition to our two young children, Eleanor and Wesley. We have a tight-knit group of friends in our neighborhood.

So, to add up. 20 baby teeth x 6 kids = 120 teeth to cool off.

We have a special spot in our garage freezer for freezy pops. And a hook above the freezer with scissors (out of kid reach) for hours of outdoor play.

Every child needs freezy pops. Every mom needs Pop Pals.

I wanna win :)
