Chicks-n-Chickens Lullaby Exercises

Thursday, July 16, 2009

When I got pregnant with both of my kids, I didn't really care about how much weight I gained. I looked at it as the one time in life that I could gain as much weight as I wanted and it wasn't a social faux pas. Once they were born however....my tune did change slightly. The only problem was that now I didn't have the energy or the time to worry about my "baby weight." I was too busy dealing with fatigue from feeding a baby all hours of the night, plus taking care of a fussy baby during the day. I like many mamas put myself on the back burner.

It probably took me a good 2 years to lose all my weight after my 1st baby. My 2nd.....well, let's just say I have yet to lose it {blush}. I think that when you have young children, it's almost as if they need to be incorporated into your work out routine in order for it to work.

I was excited when I was approached by the lovely ladies at Chicks-n-Chickens to help spread the word about their awesome DVD's. Their Lullaby DVD's
titled Lullaby Exercises....is
A fabulous new fix for fussy babies and “I want my pre-baby jeans back” mommies. Lullaby Exercises offers a new kind of workout for moms who want to take better care of themselves and their babes. The 35-minute DVD features a high-energy “groove” set and then slows is down as the “sleep” set sends the little one into slumberland. Includes an audio CD of the original soundtrack by singer/songwriter Lisa Phenix so the sets can be performed in the nursery as easily as in the living room.

So moms, I guess all the excuses are now gone. If you can't beat them....join them! LOL :-)
In addition to the DVD's, Chicks-n-Chickens also offers Baby Hawk Carriers, Egg Teethers and beautiful jewelry!

I learned that the idea for Chicks-n-Chickens Lullaby Exercises was hatched when Darcy, a real mom, had no time for the gym and a restless baby at hand. She started dancing around the house to get him to sleep. What a great idea!!

Gabi’s a rockin’ German with a brood of loyal friends. She jumped on board with chicks-n-chickens as a VP and Director of Operations without hesitation. "Only having one job is overrated," according to Gabi, who has been successfully running a private investigating firm for the past 17 years

I learned that the founder Chief chick Darcy Novo turned her first cartwheel at age two and kept rolling through the next 26 years with gymnastics, aerobics, and cheerleading-including six years as a national instructor, choreographer, and judge for the National Cheerleaders Association. Darcy then got her BA in Business, had a rewarding career in advertising
