Little Blessing Series by Tyndale Kids
>> August 31, 2009
My children are ages 4 1/2 and 2 and they both equally love to have books read to them. As a matter of fact, that is our nightly ritual. Each kid gets to pick out a book from the book shelf. We then snuggle up on my daughter's bed and read.
I was so excited when Tyndale Press contacted me to do a review of their Little Blessings Series. My children attend church with us on Sundays as well as attend a Christian daycare and preschool during the week. They are taught scripture and bible stories. I love finding books that are fun and colorful as well as ones that reiterate the truths that they learn at church and school. That is exactly what the Little Blessings Series does :)
The first night, Grace picked out What is the Bible to read. This adorable story helps explain to young children what the Bible is, who wrote it, etc. Tyndale describes it this way:
The first night, Grace picked out What is the Bible to read. This adorable story helps explain to young children what the Bible is, who wrote it, etc. Tyndale describes it this way:
Little Blessings question books help young children understand basic truths about the Christian life. Perfect for ages 3-6, What Is the Bible asks and answers questions about the Bible, such as: Who wrote the Bible, who is the Bible about, how do you read the Bible? Parents can use this book as a fun tool to answer questions their little ones may have about God’s Word. The second night, we read Who Made the World. It was so cute....in the book, they ask questions like.... "After He made the world, did God get tired"? Grace would try and answer every question. When we were finished, she proclaimed "I like that book the best!" Tyndale describes Who Made the World this way:
Little Blessings question books help young children understand basic truths about the Christian life. Perfect for ages 3-6, Who Made the World? addresses questions such as: How long did it take? and What did you make first? Scriptures that support each answer are provided in the back of the book. Parents can use this book as a fun tool to answer questions their little ones may have about God’s world.
Both books go on sale THIS MONTH! and are available at Tyndale.com Retail value is $9.99. I think that your kids will enjoy them just as much as mine.

Thank you for sharing it. My kids love books. I usually tell a story before they go to sleep. Surely, this will be a big help for me.

We read book all through out the day here..i'm going to check into these!
These books are wonderful to read to Grandkids or any little one - these are questions that they ALL ask in one form or another and they get tickled when they find out "someone" else asked that same question!!!! ( sometime in those 'pre-school' years!)
