Gypsy Soule

Have you ever saw an article of clothing and was instantly drawn to it? Something that if you owned it you would vow to wear it every day just to justify the purchase. For some women that would be a high end designer purse. For some it's a pair of shoes. In this case, it's a pair of boots.

Even though I grew up in a small farming town, I have never considered myself a cowgirl, or anything close to that. Farm girl style here meant a pair of wranglers, a cowboy hat and some beat up boots? But do those images have to represent cowgirl or farm girl style? Absolutely not...especially if you're Lorinda Graham-Newkirk!

In 2003, Lorinda Graham-Van Newkirk brought the concept of jeweled, cowhide flip-flops to reality in the Western retail market. Seemingly overnight, the once unseen combination was on the shelves of retailers around every corner and Gypsy Soule® flip-flops became the catalyst for an industry trend.

Gypsy Soule originated from Lorinda's parent company, Van Glow, which she founded shortly before the flip-flop line made its debut. Gypsy Soule® products can now be found online and in stores across the country, with a line that includes footwear, jewelry and clothing.

Gypsy Soule was kind enough to send me a pair of their Snow White boots for this review. I can honestly tell you that the pictures that I took of these boots DO NOT do them justice. They are simply stunning! If you are looking for something that is going to get you noticed, these boots are definitely for you. Every single time that I wear them out I get at least 3 or 4 people that make a comment on them.

These beautiful black suede boots feature a back rhinestone zipper, silver acid hide large cross, engraved studs, center embellishment in silver and AB, AB 48's on the points of the cross.

I received the boots in the size that I normally wear and I will have to say that they do run a bit small so I would recommend going up a size. Another thing that I noticed...and it could be because they are a bit snug....the zipper on the back split open on me a few times down at the heel. If I were to put in my recommendation, I would say they should just eliminate the zippers altogether and just make them slip on boots.

 BUY IT:
In addition to their cutting edge boots, Gypsy Sould also sells beautiful flip flops, hats, belts, shirts, bags, jewelry and even horse tack with prices from $40 to $490.
