Restore Clean Water System

I"m a pure and natural fanatic.  Especially when it comes to what I put in my body.  I was excited when Tiffany from the Restore launch team offered to send me one of their new purifying water pitchers to try out at no cost.

The Restore Clean Water System is a pitcher with a unique, two step filtration system that purifies regular tap water.  Purifying your tap water instead of buying bottled water can save you lots of money, and help keep plastic bottles out of a landfill.

The Restore pitcher uses a carbon filter to first remove heavy metals and other harmful contaminants, and then the water is further purified with a UV light that removes bacteria and viruses!  I've never heard of another water pitcher that does that!

To use the pitcher, you fill the top with tap water twice, waiting in between for the water to run through the carbon filter.  Then you plug it in, and in less than one minute, the UV light purifies the water the rest of the way and you have 8 cups of clean, ready to drink water.

It's relatively easy to use, but not practical for a family of 5 like ours.  We have a Reverse Osmosis system that is directly connected to our main water line, which is a lifesaver in the "clean water for a large family" department.

I think the Restore Clean Water pitcher would make an excellent gift for a college student, or elderly parent.  We're planning on taking ours to our summer cottage so we can enjoy clean water on our vacation.
