My kids use LOTS of sippy cups! I am a bit of a fanatic about what I pour in them too. If they just finished drinking a cup of juice...it totally grosses me out to rinse it then refill it with milk. Therefore....I get them a clean cup out. Because of this little fetish of mine, in combination with sheer laziness... we have been known to have 4-5 sippy cups in our fridge at one time. This absolutely drives my husband totally bonkers!!

cupsIt's amazing how fast a cupboard like this that is filled to the brim with sippy cups can become dirty and require cleaning. I hate cleaning sippy cups!! So, If you are like me...I let them pile up on the back of the sink until I can't possibly fit any more cups on the ledge...or the kids just simply run out of cups to use!  I am then forced to wash the mass of sippy cups.  I DREAD this task! My husband and I have also been know to argue over who "had" to wash the sippy cups last. Sad, I know!

sippy straw collageI recently discovered a cool company on Twitter called Sippy Straw Cleaner. This awesome mom invented product is my saving grace when it comes to washing those dreaded sippy cups. I have owned bottle brushes in the past that have a smaller brush built into the handle. The problem is, the small brush is still too big to fit inside the sippy valves and straws. Not the Sippy Straw Cleaner. This cleaver little brush has a long handle and skinny bristles. Just perfect for cleaning the gunk out.  The Sippy Straw Cleaner is also perfect for those situations where you find a milk filled long forgotten sippy in the corner of your child's room. Ewwww!

I used my Sippy Cleaner
tonight (which they generously provide me for this review) while cleaning out my daughter's cup. I love that I no longer have to remove the straw from the lid (they're so hard to get back together). When I pulled the Sippy Straw Cleaner out...I was actually a little grossed out! You may be surprised what's hiding in your kid's straws too! So don't throw out those sippy cups because you hate cleaning the straws and valves or you think they're just too gross and beyond redemption..... Just grab yourself some Sippy Cup Cleaners.

Oh my goodness your cabinet looks just like mine with all the sippy cups, I have had to throw so many away with gunk that I could not get out

Having a sippy straw cleaner will cut down on plastic in the landfills and it will keep the cups more sanitized and healthier for the kids.

I learned that the Sippy Straw Cleaner is not only FDA approved, but BPA free and meets all the requirements of the US Consumer Product Safety Regulations.
Nice. This is a great review btw - although you likely can't read individual comments. Its nice to get a review like this from a real user not an ad from a company.
