It has always been very important for my husband and I to introduce our children to scripture at an early age. But WOW, what a huge responsibility! The Bible is difficult for even the most educated adults to fully comprehend....let alone trying to explain it to 2 and 5 year olds. What I need to remember is that they're not necessarily "memorizing" the scripture at this age, but instead committing the stories and lessons to their hearts. Tyndale Kids does an absolutely fantastic job taking the big concepts of the Bible and watering them down so to speak so that even children can understand them.
Tyndale has been gracious enough to send us other products in the past. This time they sent us a copy of their One Year Devotions for Preschoolers 2. This wonderful devotional is 365 days worth of small bite size pieces of scripture complete with a lesson and question. That sounds like a lot, but each devotion is only 1 page in length. It's straight forward and to the point without being too complex.
