Support your child's sports team or after-school club with a bake sale. No bake sale is complete without NESTLE TOLL HOUSE chocolate chip cookies!

When I think of the Fall season I think of back-to-school and baking. When my kids get home from school I want them to have something yummy to eat and be able to talk with me about their day. Nothing makes things more special than homemade goodies.

The first day of school we always bake chocolate chip cookies so they are ready when the kiddos come home! It's a special treat they look forward to every year.
I don't have kids, but my husband is a teacher and I like to make back to school special for him by including a card in his bag (hidden) on his first day and having a good dinner to celebrate the start of a new year!
I try to have special homemade snacks. They make the day go a little better.

It truly is amazing what a homemade chocolate chip cookie can do to boost spirits. And having Saturday breakfast as a family is something we try to do every week. Family dinners are important but as important is a fun filled, kids choose yummy goodness of a weekend breakfast.
I follow you on Twitter and tweeted ; )
That's a neat looking kit..I also didn't know about the new toppers!
Well, when I was raising my brothers, I used to always bake them treats the weekend before and/or 1st day of school..Breakfast was also important, so I'd get up extra early to make them a great, hot breakfast on school mornings!
Thanks for the chance to win!

my children are all older now but when they were young we would have a mini celebration after school each day going through packpacks, hanging up good papers and talking about any that we needed to

We're new at the back-to-school thing this year with my daughter starting preschool, but we made it special by my husband taking a couple hours off in the morning to help drop her off at school and get pics as a family.

We make back to school season special with a trip to the pumpkin farms of north georgia because back to school usually means back to more reasonable weather.

I like to make sure they are organized, I also have a healthy snack waiting for them when they come home from school and I spend time with each one of them after dinner going over their homework. I want them to know I support them and always there to help and guide them all the way.

Aside from back to school shopping, we let our daughter pick her favorite restaurant and take her out to eat on the first day of school. We can enjoy a family dinner (minus the cooking) and she can talk about her day.

I fix a special little snack for my grandson to have each day when he gets here from school. Sometimes it's a sweet like cookies or brownies, sometimes it's cheese and crackers, or homemade bread. He's always excited to see what Grandma's made!

I make it special for the kids by letting them buy a first-day-of-school outfit and choosing it on their own. I also like to do silly things with their breakfast foods to get them in a good mood before going off to school. Thanks.
